You decide which pitch is best for your needs at each campsite. Requires a flat mounting area of 67″ x 3.5″ from awning rail down Steep pitch model is for taller motorhomes and 5th wheels or gooseneck trailers, where a steep pitch provides more shade. If mounting over an entrance door, you must have at least 14 1/2″ of clearance between the top of the door and the awning rail. Each arm requires a mounting area at least 3 1/2″ wide by 59 1/2″ tall. The Direct Response Auto-Retraction System is also available as an accessory upgrade for the Travel’r awning. The system automatically retracts your awning when canopy movement exceeds the predetermined threshold, protecting your awning when you’re not around.
